IT NEVER ENDS…ALTHOUGH IN 1992 FOR A TIME IT DID!

So way back in the distant mists of 1991 Marvel US cancelled it’s Transformers comic, but in the UK it was still chugging along, reprinting the outstanding US material and readers were clamouring to know what would happen when the reprints were finished. Towards the end we were promised a continuation – the book would switch to monthly and mostly reprints of older material and G.I. Joe but we would get five pages a month of all-new material continuing the story. Many readers, myself included – rejoiced, but just as soon as this was announced it was cancelled and issue 332 would be the last regularly published title.

Flash forward to 2021 and I purchased The Ark/Last Autobot – I felt compelled to recreate one of the panels from the last issue with Optimus Prime and the Last Autobot. Then a wave of ideas hit me and I started to write them down, and before I knew it I had several years worth of ideas. I decided to tell the story in the style it would have done back in the day. Almost as if this had slipped in from a parallel universe. This is the first two issues worth, but there is more on the way. After all…it never ends.
