For Inktober 2021 and as a way to keep my hand in with the high contrast style for The Runner, while awaiting my co-creator to complete his OU Degree course so we could edit. I picked up a moleskine sketchbook and began doing a series of sketches using black and white only and next to no rendering. As with all things it started off as just something which would grow arms and legs and a story was born. This is the first act and it does end on a bit of a cliffhanger.
